A HydroFusion Facial is one of the most powerful, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatments available today. It combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection that removes dead skin cells and impurities, while simultaneously delivering active serums and peptides into the skin
How to Prepare for your HydroFusion Facial
7 days before your treatment:
-
Make sure it has been at least 7 days since any face waxing procedure to avoid irritation.
-
Avoid spending time under UV rays from the sun or tanning beds.
-
Wear an SPF 30+ daily.

5 days before your treatment:
-
Stop all exfoliation products at home. This includes any: Retinol, AHA's (Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid) BHA's (Salicylic Acid), and Facial Polishes or Scrubs. Discontinuing at-home treatment will allow for the maximum results when you go in for your spa service.

-
Keep skin supple with Truth Treatments Trifecta -or- Circadia Blueberry & White Tea Hydrating Mist & Face Reality Hydrabalance plus a moisturizer.
-
Clients with herpes simplex infection should begin taking an anti-viral medication such as Acyclovir or Valacyclovir. If a prescription is needed, please call our office 1 week before your appointment.
-
Wear an SPF 30+ daily.

2 days before your treatment:
-
Inspect your face, neck and chest for wounds. It is important that the skin is healthy prior to treatment, and that there are no wounds/sores on the face, as the procedure could compromise the healing process.
Night Before your treatment:
-
Shave the night before your facial to avoid irritation during the treatment.
Day of HydroFusion Facial:
-
Avoid shaving the day of your exfoliating facial.
-
Cleanse your skin with a Face Reality Gentle Cleanser -or- Truth Treatment Hyaluronic Honey Cleanser and refrain from using make-up.

Avoid any activity which causes sweating as this may irritate freshly exfoliated skin.
-
Do not use hot water to wash your face. Avoid hot tub, sauna, or steam bath for 24 hrs.

Do not use makeup for 24 hours.
-
Keep skin moisturized using Truth Treatments Trifecta -or- Circadia Blueberry & White Tea Hydrating Mist & Face Reality Hydrabalance plus a moisturizer as needed.

Makeup is okay to apply.

One Treatment is Great, but Multiple Exfoliating Facials Deliver Maximum Results!
Most patients should receive an Exfoliating Facial about once a every 4-6 weeks. Since the body naturally replaces skin cells and vellus hair each month, this ensures the old cells are removed and new, healthy skin cells are visible. In some cases, more or less frequent visits may be recommended based on the patient's specific needs.

Vellus hair is thin, colorless hair also known as "peach fuzz". Dermaplaning will not cause the vellus hair to turn into verminal hair which is thicker, more dense and pigmented. In approximately 4-6 weeks, the vellus hair will return just as it was previously.

How do I care for my skin after having a chemical peel?
Half of the results from the treatment will be achieved in the clinic, but the other half are up to you. You need to care for your skin at home.
Cleansing, moisturizing, using sunscreen are highly recommended. Avoid direct sun exposure.
Do not peel off loose skin. Allow skin to exfoliate on its own.
Are chemical peels as scary as they seem?
In the hands of a well-trained, reputable professional you’ve got nothing to worry about!
These acids can be used safely, given that all potential risks and possible contraindications are fully assessed prior to treatment.
